Many people go in for a face lift and are surprised to find out that the face lift will not fix all or some of their wrinkles. When thinking about wrinkles and your facial skin, you must think about a sheet that has been crumpled up in the corner for a couple days. To remove these you can get a chemical peel or other alternative, or you can have your surgeon do a laser resurfacing during the face lift. The laser resurfacing is like sand paper for your facial skin and smooths out the high spots leaving the lower spots. This makes a smooth finish that will eventually grow out even and the redness will disappear.

You cannot remove the wrinkles with a face lift alone, you need to have the :fine wrinkles" attended to since they are the only true wrinkles on our face. Once these have become resurfaced and the skin on your face has been tightened you will look years younger, both physically and mentally.
